Question 1

What does HODHQ do?

Accepted Answer

HODHQ is job software for UK building firms on phone and desktop. It keeps jobs, customers, calendar, clock-ins, documents, job costs, quotes, stage payments, invoices, payment receipts and subcontractor invoices in one place. It can create documents from architect drawings, such as a materials take-off and schedule of works. It also handles job invites that subcontractors accept or decline from their phone, and site photos on each job. Owner, Manager, Team and Subcontractor roles keep quote prices, invoices and profit for the owner.

Question 2

Who is Doreen?

Accepted Answer

Doreen is the assistant built into HODHQ. You can talk or type to her, or send photos and files, and she creates customers and jobs, drafts quotes and stage payment plans, logs costs and labour and files photos and receipts on the right job. Nothing is saved until you press Confirm.

Question 3

Does the site team see quotes and invoices?

Accepted Answer

No. Quotes, invoices and profit stay behind the owner's PIN. The team sees jobs, the calendar, photos and progress with no money on screen. A manager sees job costs such as labour, materials, receipts and subcontractor invoices, but not quote prices, client invoices, payments received or profit.

Question 4

When does HODHQ launch?

Accepted Answer

After it has finished being proved on live jobs. The interest list is open now at hodhq.co.uk and hodhq.com, and members will be emailed when subscriptions open.

Question 5

Is there a monthly price yet?

Accepted Answer

Not yet. The fee will be published at launch. Join the interest list at hodhq.co.uk or hodhq.com to hear first.
